Vande Bharat’s hit by cattle again, engine front damaged

Ahmedabad: An accident of cow coming in front of Vande Bharat train was reported on Saturday morning near Atul station near Valsad. The front part of the train has been damaged, the train was repaired and sent forward. Vande Bharat train was going from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in the morning.

Senior railway officials reached the spot on getting information about the incident.

In this case an FIR can be registered against the owner of the animal.

Earlier, the train had crashed twice due to the cattle coming on the track. After leaving Gandhinagar on October 6, when the front of the train was damaged when the cow arrived near Maninagar and Vatva near Ahmedabad, the railway police registered a case against the cattle owners. The next day, on October 7, a cow collided with a train near Anand station.

There were no casualties in all three accidents. In this case also an FIR was registered against the animal owner. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on 30 September, flagged off the Vande Bharat train from Gandhinagar. He went from Gandhinagar to Kalupur station by sitting in this train.
