UP ATS nabs JeM terrorist from Saharanpur, allegedly tasked with targeting Nupur Sharma

Saharanpur: The UP ATS has arrested a suspected terrorist from Saharanpur. The name of the arrested terrorist is Mohammad Nadeem, who was in contact with terrorist organisations named Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). During interrogation, he said that he had received the task of killing Nupur Sharma from Pakistan.

While sharing information with the media this time from the Lucknow office of UP ATS, it was said that ATS had received news that a suspicious person was present in Gangoh of Saharanpur. On this information, the team reached Kunda Kala village in the Gangoh police station area of Saharanpur and the suspect, Muhammad Nadeem Nafees Ahmed, was taken into custody.

According to the ATS, during interrogation, Nadeem said that the Pakistan-based terrorist organisations Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan had given him the task of killing Nupur. Nadeem was in contact with many terrorists from these terrorist organisations for many years. Not only this, it had taken training for a fidayeen attack from TTP terrorist Saifullah Pakistani. It took all the training online. It was also being called to Pakistan for training. Its next plan was to go to Pakistan with a visa and take training there. Along with Pakistan, he was also planning to go to Syria and Afghanistan through Egypt.
