Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that UNESCO’s recognition of Durga Puja is a matter of pride not only for Bengal but for the entire country.
Speaking at a function organized by the Union Ministry of Culture to commemorate the recognition of Durga Puja at the Victoria Memorial this evening, Mr. Shah said our country’s culture is always appreciated by the whole world.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union Minister of State Nishith Pramanik, BJP state president Sukanta Majumder and others were present on the occasion.
