BT Bureau, Chandigarh: The shooting of Stage App’s new web series College Kaand has begun. Rajesh Babbar’s directorial ‘College Kaand’ is being shot in different districts of Haryana.
According to the makers, Haryana-based artists have been cast for this web series in order to promote Haryanvi culture and dialect.
The web series is currently being shot at Chandigarh University and surrounding villages. Pravesh Rajput created the story for the web series.
According to the director, college kaand is inspired by true events and is based on a police investigation. The series is a suspense thriller that revolves around college student life, ragging, paper leaks, and drug abuse.
Haryanvi artist will perform in the web series.
The series is being created in Haryanvi, and the majority of the actors are from Haryana. Performances will be given by Bollywood actors Yashpal Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Yogesh Bhardwaj, Shivam Kabir Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Mohankant, Mukesh Musafir, Satish Kashyap, Pushpanjali Sharma, Alpana Suhasani, Vinay Chhonkar, Ashima, Kuldeep, and Sanjay Rampal.
The web series will be released on Stage App in the month of August.
