Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a massive women’s gathering at Thrissur in Kerala during the event titled “Women Power with Modi,” organized by the BJP. PM Modi stated that his government is dedicated to improving the lives of women, criticizing past Kerala governments for neglecting women’s rights and delaying legislation on women’s reservation in Parliament and the Assembly.

Accusing the LDF and UDF of being essentially the same, PM Modi outlined the NDA’s focus on key categories – the poor, youth, farmers, and women. He highlighted achievements like the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam becoming law, ending Triple Talaq, and initiatives such as Ujjwala gas connections, toilets, sanitary pads, and extended maternity leave to enhance women’s well-being.

PM Modi also conducted a road show in Thrissur, drawing a large crowd. Earlier, in Lakshadweep, he launched development projects worth 1156 crore rupees, emphasizing the government’s commitment to sustainable development and boosting tourism in the region. The Prime Minister encouraged travelers to explore Lakshadweep, noting a fivefold increase in tourist arrivals in recent years.
