Pak Navy rescues 9 Indians after vessel capsizes near Balochistan

Karachi: The Pakistani Navy rescued nine Indians as a cargo ship capsized in the Arabian Sea. The cargo ship, Jamna Sagar, which had ten crew members capsized on August 9, near Gwadar Balochistan province.

The Pakistan Navy received information about the vessel and responded by requesting a merchant ship to provide the necessary help. Meanwhile, Pakistan naval ship with two helicopters was also pressed into the rescue operation. The merchant ship saved nine of the ten crew members and recovered body of the tenth. The body was handed over to Pakistan Maritime Security Agency 9PMSA). Indian Navy officers are in contact with the PMSA.

Investigation into the incident is in progress. The possibility of bad weather has been ruled out as it was much better in the region, where the ship capsized.
