Pak infiltrator gunned down by BSF in Bikaner range

Sri Ganganagar: An intruder entering the Indian border from Pakistan on Friday night was gunned down by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in the Bikaner range.

According to BSF DIG Amit Kumar, on Friday night, the soldiers who were patrolling the night tried to stop the intruder coming from Pakistan side through the forest in the Indian border. This intruder had entered the Indian border for about 250 meters from the zero line at Sherpura post near Anupgarh in Sriganganagar of Bikaner range. On failure of complying to be stopped, the soldiers opened fire, the intruder was killed.

After getting information about the encounter, BSF officials reached the spot. The DIG also informed that the slain intruder is around 22 years old and no material has been found in the search.
