North Korea launches a ballistic missile, dismissing the US warning

Pyongyang: South Korea, the US, and Japan failed to apply adequate pressure on North Korea, which again fired ballistic missiles in reply to the appeal for peaceful relations.

North Korea is continuously firing ballistic missiles toward South Korea and Japan. US President Joe Biden had held talks with his counterparts in South Korea and Japan and had threatened North Korea with strong military action. However, in reply North Korea again fired a ballistic missile, defying the threat issued by Biden.

South Korean Joint Chief of Staff informed about test firing by North Korea. The missile flew 240 km and rose to 47 kms . The US, South Korea, Japan, and the UN criticised North Korea for creating tension in the region
