National Yuva Janotsav will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hubballi-Dharwad on January 12th. The Sports and Youth Empowerment minister of Karnataka Dr. Narayanagowda informed media persons in Belagavi today that the national-level event will be held in Hubballi-Dharwad from January 12th to 16th.
Every state will send 7500 young artists and department officials to attend the event. It will be the 26th National Yuva Janotsava and a Committee headed by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is supervising the arrangements for the event. Dr Naryanagowda said that the arrangements regarding food and shelter for the visiting young artists and officials are being worked out. Entries are invited from public on the logo, Mascot, and theme for the 26th edition of the youth festival. The selection committee will declare the best logo and mascot and will be awarded 50,000 rupees cash prize. For the best theme, the winner will get 25000 cash prize. These best logos, mascots, and themes will be used during the Youth festival. The last date to submit entries to email@example.com is December 28th.
