J&K Disaster Management Authority has issued an avalanche warning for ten districts

Srinagar: For the next 24 hours, the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority has issued an avalanche warning for at least ten districts.
The JKDMA has issued a warning that avalanches with a ‘Low’ Danger Level are likely above 2500 metres in Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal, and Kupwara districts, as well as areas above 2000 metres in Kulgam and Anantnag districts.

Similarly, the Disaster Management Authority has expressed concern about a ‘Medium’ Danger Level above 2500 metres over the districts of Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, and Ramban.
Residents in the affected areas have been advised to remain vigilant.
