Income tax raid on former Congress MLA’s residences

Kathua: Income Tax Department officials have raided several places of former Congress MLA Joginder Pal from Halka Bhoa in Pathankot, Punjab. The raid was conducted in the disproportionate assets case.

But the raid was conducted by the Income Tax Department.

On Friday, one of the Income Tax officials reached Joginder Pal’s house in Sujanpur. After this, besides his house and farmhouse, raids were conducted on Sant Enterprise’s stone crusher located in village Pandori in Nagri block of Kathua district. According to sources, Income Tax officials have also raided the houses of several close relatives of former MLA Joginder Pal.

According to the information, this income tax raid is related to Joginder Pal. For a long time, the eyes of the Income Tax Department were on Joginder Pal’s income and sources of income during his tenure. Former MLA Joginder Pal, a big businessman of sand, has been in the news during his tenure. He was also accused of making the Assistant Director Mining Department, Jammu hostage on his crusher.
