Chapra: Former union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today in Gopalganj said that the RJD-JDU alliance is unholy and based on mutual interests and ulterior motives. He said that the doors to the BJP for Nitish Kumar were closed. Taking a dig at the state government, he said that when people ruling the state on the basis of casteism and family (Jativad and Parivarvad) talk about development, it sounds strange and bizarre. Bihar is becoming the centre of PFI, and businessmen, out of fear, are winding down their businesses. Bihar is becoming a concern for national security and Nitish Kumar is keeping mum.

Another former minister and MP, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, canvassing for the BJP candidate for the Gopalganj bye poll, said that Lalu and Nitish ruled Bihar for thirty years and ruined it. The Bihar government has no agenda for development. He stated that the results of the byelections in Gopalganj and Mokama will determine Bihar’s future.
