BJP presents please all manifesto for HP

Shimla: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday released its manifesto for the Himachal Assembly elections, it has something for every class.

BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda released the vision paper, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur and senior state BJP leaders were present on the occasion.

A big announcement has been made for girl students, women and youth in the vision paper. No announcement has been made regarding the restoration of the old pension scheme of the employees, but it has been said to find a solution.

The vision paper promises to provide cycles to school going daughters and scooties to college students. This will provide facilities to eight lakh school daughters. ₹500 crore will be spent on this scheme and a corpus fund of ₹500 crore will be created to give interest free loans to women to start other enterprises including home stay.

The manifesto promises opening of five new medical colleges in the state, providing employment to eight lakh people, connecting all villages with PM road scheme, connecting religious tourist places with road facilities, more than 12 per cent GST on apple cartons to be borne by the government, 33 per cent reservation for women in government jobs, construction of girl’s hostels in 12 districts, Stree Shakti cards to women for treatment of diseases not covered by HIM Care card, ₹2,500 per month to 5,000 rank girl students in class 12th Grant of scholarship, inclusion of women above 30 years of age of poor family in Atal Pension Yojana, 3 free LPG cylinders to poor women from Devi Annapurna Yojana, ₹51,000 instead of ₹31,000 to BPL families under CM Shagun Yojana Announcements have been made to give an amount of ₹25,000 to women for mother and newborn care, and to give interest free loans to women for running homestays.

Nadda said that many welfare schemes will be launched in the name of development in Himachal Pradesh. Many schemes will be run especially for women. 11 schemes will be launched on women empowerment. Nadda said that the BJP did what it had said, but it also fulfilled what it had not said. He said that the BJP has set a new dimension of development. He said that there are 11 promises in this manifesto of BJP.

Dr. Sikander Kumar, the convener of the vision paper, said that for the vision letter, suggestions of all classes of farmers, gardeners, women, youth, soldiers have been received online and offline. He said that in this way a total of more than 25,000 suggestions have been received. After compiling and perusing all these suggestions, important suggestions have been included in this vision paper, he added.
