Bharat Jodo Yatra connecting with peoples’ issues: Congress

New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, while addressing a press conference held at the party headquarters on Wednesday, said that during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, MP Rahul Gandhi is meeting various social organisations and discussing every issue.

A large number of people are joining Bharat Jodo Yatra, Ramesh said that in this yatra, the issue of farmers was raised by most of the organisations. He said that the farmers of the country are suffering and being exploited.

Ramesh said that eight districts will be covered in the next 11 days in Telangana, after that it will come to Nanded in Maharashtra and will travel for about 16 days in Maharashtra. After that the journey will be in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Ramesh said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has passed through four states in the last 48 days. Today is the 48th day of Bharat Jodo Yatra, out of these 48 days, 7 days were rest days. Bharat Jodo Yatra was on road for 41 days, in these 41 days about 1,270 kms was covered.
