Four non-HCS of Haryana get IAS commission

Chandigarh: Four non-HCS officers of Haryana will be commissioned into the IAS directly. The Central Government has given its approval of the proposal of Haryana. Of the officers who have been made IAS from the non-HCS cadre, two belong to the Animal Husbandry Department.

The proposal was sent by the Haryana Government to select the non-HCS officers and nominate them as IAS. In the year 2019, the names of Dr. Brahmajit Rangi and Dr. Harish Kumar Vashisht from the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department, Dr Vivek Bharat and Dr Jendra Singh Chillar from the Higher Education Department were sent to the centre on the basis of vacant posts. The Central Government has given its approval in this regard on Tuesday.

In the orders issued by the Secretary under the Government of India, the Chief Secretary of Haryana has been asked to issue a notification in this regard on the basis of the approval of the Central Government. Now after the notification is issued by the Chief Secretary, the officers of the Animal Husbandry and Higher Education Department will join the IAS cadre. After that, they will be given regular responsibility.
