When and how did you first consider making a career out of acting?

I used to write plays, direct them, and act on them on my own in high school. I used to write songs to the tunes of popular movie songs. I rose to prominence in school and the village at a young age. But I never considered making it a profession because my family’s financial situation was dire, and I needed to finish my studies and find work as soon as possible. After schooling, I went on to study BSC at a nearby college and participated in the college’s youth festival because I had always been interested in cultural activities. At the time, famous actor Jaideep Ahlawat also arrived from Mumbai. His acting abilities and personality astounded me. Also, the level of practice provided by our director, Alkesh Dalal. It had a profound effect on my mind. Even after working 22 hours a day, I was not tired and had a great time. I knew this was the best thing I could do. Seeing my work, the applause of the audience, and the encouragement of Jaideep Ahlawat confirmed my decision. In 2012, I joined the Film Institute of the State University of Visual and Arts (Supva).
