Seoul, South Korea:  Super Junior member Kyuhyun recently encountered an unsettling incident in his dressing room, as confirmed by his agency, Antenna. The agency issued an official statement on their Instagram handle, assuring fans of Kyuhyun’s well-being.

According to the statement, the incident occurred during Kyuhyun’s visit to celebrate the final performance of the musical “Ben-Hur” on November 19. An outsider entered the dressing room, causing distress to other actors. In the process of restraining the intruder, Kyuhyun sustained a minor abrasion on his finger. Immediate on-site treatment was administered, and he is currently reported to be in good health, fully capable of continuing his regular activities.

Antenna expressed gratitude to fans for their genuine concern and emphasized their commitment to supporting the artist throughout this incident.

In a related development, the Seoul Gangseo Police Station has arrested the woman responsible for the intrusion. She faces charges of special intimidation, and an ongoing investigation aims to determine how she acquired the weapon. The incident transpired at the LG Arts Center, where Kyuhyun was performing in the musical “Ben-Hur.”

Super Junior, a popular South Korean boy band, consists of members Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun, known for his roles as a singer, musical theatre actor, and television host, previously starred in the musical adaptation of MBC’s “Moon Embracing the Sun” at the Seoul Arts Center, alongside Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of security measures to ensure the safety of artists and performers during public events.
