Bombay Tribune Bureau Jaipur, Rajasthan: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, the two main contenders in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections, are engaged in a fierce battle. Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a Congress leader, asserted that the BJP recognizes that they have no chance of winning in the western state.

“The atmosphere in Rajasthan is in our favor. Our programs and initiatives are being discussed across the country. The BJP has nothing against the Congress, which is why they turn non-issues into issues. They (BJP) have realized that they will not succeed here, and we are unable to respond to them. We first made ten guarantees. Now that we’ve discussed seven guarantees, they’re getting anxious,” stated Ashok Gehlot.

Gehlot’s remarks come as the BJP intensifies its campaign in Rajasthan, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior party leaders addressing rallies in the state. The Congress, on the other hand, is banking on its performance in government and its promises to the people of Rajasthan.

The upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections are scheduled to be held in late 2023. The results of these elections will have a significant impact on the political landscape of the state.
